Approach
The Approach section of the Laser Cut panel is used to set up the approach geometry for the laser cut.

Length: The length of the initial approach segment (this is the length that the initial linear segment of approach would have, if the radius were set to zero).

Radius: The blend radius with which the approach segment meets the actual laser cut path. As shown in the image above, increasing the approach radius reduces the length of the initial straight segment of the approach geometry.

Angle: The approach angle - this is the turn angle between the initial linear approach segment and the initial segment of the laser cut. Larger values will mean a sharper turn.

Dimple: Turns on the approach dimple strategy. This is used, for example, when we are cutting out a circle and want to ensure that the complete diameter of the circle is unobstructed (for example, if we want to put a pin through it).
